This genre of games is on the top - MMO and subgroup - MMORPG. Each game on that type has unique and very cool virtual game world.I think the most interesting is Lord of the Rings Online: Shadow of Angmar, based on wonderful book written by Sir J.J.R. Tolkien. About Lord of the Rings Online I can say a lot - about character and history or something close. Because I feel very strong the spirit of game, I know very well all places, characters (most of them) or even items (like Gandalf's Glamdring). Some may say that World of Warcraft is more convicting but not everyone knows even the name of Azeroth - World of Warcraft? Maybe only WoW players.I want to say that the world of Middlearth is something more popular and famous than Azeroth.

Do we have here any futuristic mmo? I think no. We are out of it.

After games like Star Wars or Anarchy Online, there was Tabula Rasa but game maybe only little bit then average. I will try to get free trial and maybe then I will be able to say more. In my opinion there is lack of star- mmo game. I played in Eve around December with my friend but game was really here too complicated for me. Lots of statistics, very large world of game and probably, most cruel game system. Game is very hard to do some kind of career, even if you've got good starship you can easy die and lost it.

I'm looking something like game near World of Warcraft but based on some interesting world. Maybe MMORPG - Starcraft will be good idea? World of Starcraft :] mmm. I think maybe after Diablo 3 Blizzard will try it, it's hard to say when but this kind of product would be great move. Market wants something like that. Yesterday I watched video about Diablo 3, it was really awesome and I'm looking forward to it. I played in Diablo and Diablo 2 very long and I'm really big fan of them.
